Folds
Folds is an intaglio print exploring transsexual vulnerability by highlighting how my skin folds over top-surgery scar tissue. I used a variety of intaglio mark-making methods in this print to develop the image, then printed multiple one-of-a-kind variations: Folds on brown paper, Folds as a collaboration with Tatianna Siminova (a past teacher of mine), Folds with hints of pink, and Folds with tangerine ink. This is a limited edition print.
