No Moon
No Moon is one of four collaged monoprints in Moon Series. I made shape stencils on my screen, applied water-soluble crayons to the screen, and played around with colors and textures when small amounts of water were added to the pigment. I then used transparent ink to print the shapes, cut them out when they were dry, then collaged them in their current compositions. My intention was to play with shape size and relationships thru abstracted cityscapes.
